The buzzing in the recording you hear when your computer is plugged in had has an easy explanation. It is from the 60 mHz frequency of the alternating current from the grid.

Sorry I am just catching up! lol sadly my work has now made us sign a contract saying we will not bash it. It would be hard to give you any stories without giving away where I work.
